Who we are

What we collect

  • Google account info — name and email address, obtained when you sign in via Google OAuth. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Talk scripts — the text content of presentations you create and save.
  • Session data — session codes and status when you run a live presentation.
  • Audience submissions — questions, contact cards, and reactions submitted by audience members during your sessions. These include the submitter's email address.

How we use it

  • To authenticate you and associate your data with your account.
  • To store and sync your talk scripts across devices.
  • To deliver audience questions and reactions to you in real time during sessions.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Where data is stored

Data is stored on AWS infrastructure (Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon Cognito) in the US East region. Authentication is handled by AWS Cognito; we never see or store your Google password.

Cookies and sessions

We use cookies and browser local storage to maintain your authentication session via AWS Cognito. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

Data retention

Your talks and session data are retained until you delete them. Audience submissions are retained until the presenter deletes the associated session. To request full deletion of your account and associated data, email us and we will process it within 30 days.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at johann@aitako.com. If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR including the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted by updating the date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
